For some of us, the holidays are not the “most wonderful time of the year.” Grief, loneliness, family tension, addiction, depression, mental health struggles, and painful memories can make this season especially heavy.
Tonight at 7 pm in the Sanctuary, we’re opening a simple, unstructured space to sit before the Lord together, pray, share as we’re able, and surrender what we’re carrying. There’s no sermon, no program, and no pressure—just an invitation to come as you are, stay as long as you need, and be with Jesus in the middle of the ache.
Please join us as we begin to celebrate the season of Advent.
Please join us as we decorate our sanctuary to celebrate the Christmas season.
Please join us in our yearly Vision Night Banquet as we celebrate God’s work this past year and cast the vision of the church in the coming year. More details to follow.

Many people experience chronic pain, but unfortunately, it can form a hidden life of its own, out of public view from a person's daily life, conversations, and general movement through the world.
We would like to dedicate a night to bring this pain to the Father, and pray with and for anyone in our community experiencing this.
If you have any form of chronic pain (no matter how big or small), and would like to receive prayer for it, or if you would like to pray for someone experiencing it, please join us in the Sanctuary on June 17th at 7pm for a night of prayer focused specifically on chronic pain.

Vision Nights are a time of collective reflection on our church in the present and on where God may be leading us in the future. We will eat a meal together, and the leaders of Hope Church will guide us through a time of reflection, discussion, and prayer. We hope to see you there!
What is this?
This is an invitation into a participatory visioning process where we will identify ministry opportunities and needs through discussion and prayer.
Who should come?
If you call Hope Church your church home, we would love to have you participate.
When will it happen?
We will have two Vision Nights, one in August and one in September.
What is the goal?
The goal is to create conversations to ensure the leaders of Hope Church understand the needs and perspectives of our people, and to deepen our relationships and our faith as we go through this process together. We may come out of the two Vision Nights with some ideas about new or different things the Lord may be calling us to do, or we may come out simply knowing and loving each other more.
Will decisions be made at the Vision Nights?
While we want everyone to bring their ideas, thoughts, and perspectives about our church, this group will not be making decisions together. The conversations will provide the Elder Team and the staff with a broadened perspective as we consider what is next for Hope Church.
Is this going to change what I love about our church?
Hope Church has an established mission, core values, and an apprenticeship model. With those as our foundation, we are inviting the congregation to imagine the next season of Hope Church with us. While we eagerly anticipate where the Lord may lead us, we are happily rooted in our mission, core values, and emphasis on apprenticeship.
What will happen after the Vision Nights?
After the two Vision Nights, the Elder Team will enter a time of strategic planning, visioning, and discernment. Then, in December 2025, we anticipate having one more night to present what comes as a result of that process and move forward in it together.
November 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, 6pm in the Chapel
Set amid a period of famine, loss, and desperation, the book of Ruth weaves an extraordinary story of God’s sovereign hand at work in even the most bleak circumstances. Over four weeks, we’ll journey through this short but powerful narrative, exploring how God’s provision shines through seasons of suffering and lament, how loyalty and steadfast love reshapes our lives, and how Ruth points to God’s heart for the inclusion of the outsider. This story of hope and redemption, though ancient, is a poignant piece of scripture that is still transforming lives today.
